Some key points to remember:
- Play Time at the Kennel
- Each dog has a quiet time at midday and play time in the
afternoon. Our afternoon play time consists of selecting
three to four dogs of similar size and personality to participate
in a supervised group environment.
- All dogs which stay with at our kennel must have
an updated immunization record and an attending veterinarian.
- Any dog that arrives at Absecon Pet Center
carrying fleas or ticks won't leave with them; dogs showing signs
of these pests will be dipped before coming in contact with other
dogs.
- The facility is completely indoors, and the dogs
are not exposed to the weather, heat, cold, parasites, fleas,
ticks, flies, or mosquitoes.
- At your request, you dog can be walked every day
in an area specially treated for fleas and ticks.
- Each dog is walked twice per day and fed twice
per day. While we do not require the owner to supply their
pet's food, we do encourage continuing a pet's current diet.
If an owner prefers, we will use our Iams Lamb and rice dry food
and Mighty Dog canned food at no additional charge. We also
have a refrigeration and a micro waving service available for those
who which to supply pre-prepared meals for their pet.
